Africare Loses A Friend: Africare's Statement on the passing of Donald Payne

The passing of Donald Payne is a real loss for the United States and Africa.  For more than two decades no member of Congress has been a greater voice for freedom, democracy and economic development in Africa than Congressman Donald Payne.  On a more personal level, Africare has lost a friend, and we have all lost a champion. Our hearts go out to his constituents, friends and family during this difficult moment.
