                                         UBUNTU: ACHIEVING RESULTS TOGETHER
April 15-24

Africare is excited to welcome its Country Directors to Washington D.C. for a week-long series of presentations with a break for our annual Bishop John T. Walker Dinner Gala on April 20.

The theme is inspired by the word “Ubuntu” |oǒ'boǒntoō|, a southern African word meaning 'humanity to others'. Ubuntu speaks to our interconnectedness and our responsibilities to each other that flow from our connection.

Ubuntu. means, "I am what I am because of who we all are."
