"A Dying Breed:
44 Years in International Development"

By Kevin G. Lowther

WASHINGTON, DC — In the April 2007 issue of InterAction's Monday Developments, Africare’s Kevin Lowther chronicles his life’s work as a pioneer in the field of international development. Since 1963, Lowther has devoted his career — and life — to the continent of Africa, from his days in the fledgling Peace Corps to his role in the founding of Africare and his work with that NGO ever since. Currently Africare's Southern Africa Regional Director, Lowther will retire from the Africare staff at the end of June 2007.
