California School Raises $2,000
To Build Well in Africa

ROSE HILLS, CA, March 9, 2007 — On March 9, a jam-packed auditorium of students, teachers and staff at Our Lady of Guadalupe School in Rose Hills, California, celebrated the results of a year-long "service learning" project that the school had adopted in March 2006 as a way to learn more about Africa.

At the end of the day’s celebrations, the students presented a $2,047 check to the African Well Fund — to support Africare's work building wells in Africa.
