Washington State University Students Donate Over $4,000 — through the African Well Fund — to Africare

PULLMAN, WA, April 23, 2007 — Students at Washington State University's Scott-Coman residence hall spent the final weeks of their spring 2007 semester educating the campus about the scarcity of clean water in Africa. The awareness campaign led to a campus-wide appeal to students and faculty to make "wishing well" donations to fund a well-construction project in Africa. The campaign garnered more than $4,000, which the students donated to the African Well Fund to support Africare's work to bring clean water to Africa.
