Five dollars may not seem like much, but when brought into context can make a big difference! For instance, a $5 donation to Africare can provide materials and training for one backyard garden, which can help meet the nutritional needs of children orphaned by AIDS. If you donate twice, $10 can save a child’s life by purchasing, delivering and educating a family about the proper use of a mosquito net. Donations over time add up, and make a big difference. One year of small $5 donations can total upwards of $350 and provide access to clean water for an entire community through a spring catchment well.
