Michigan StateDonor Spotlight:  Michigan State Awareness Project

In May 2009, students at Michigan State University inspired their classmates “to action” after a presentation about the influence of natural resources like food and water on the attainment of peace and justice within impoverished nations around the world.

Africare’s development work across 25 countries in Africa was highlighted as an example of this correlation, and inspired the students to take their class project to the next level through a fundraiser to support Africare. Fundraising efforts will begin Fall of 2009. Stay posted
to track their efforts.
