Africare specializes in Africa. We address a wide range of core problems faced by the African people. And we've worked in 36 countries, in all the major regions of the continent.

Benin
Africare has assisted Benin since 1993. Programs have spanned the basic development areas of food, water and health. Additionally, Africare supported a major effort to strengthen the hold of democracy by strengthening the capacities of non-governmental organizations (NGOs): community self-help groups that form the heart of civil society.
