African Diaspora Leaders from Brazil and the U.S. Meet to Advocate Human Rights for People of African Descent
Washington, D.C. (FEBRUARY 19, 2015) – Thought leaders representing the African diaspora from Brazil and the United States will gather in Washington, D.C., on February 25, 2015, to explore and together chart a plan of action to advocate respect, protection and fulfillment of human rights for people of African descent.
BBC Media Action’s research found that knowledge of key nutrition behaviors during pregnancy are very high among those interviewed and that Mwanzo Bora’s Social Behavior Change Communication Kit is helping parents feel comfortable asking questions about nutrition lessons they do not fully understand.
