For more than 45 years, we at Africare have been dedicated to improving the lives of those in need in Africa. In carrying out our mission we are committed to acting with integrity and insisting upon the highest ethical standards at all levels of our organization. Proper governance has always been, and continues to be, an area of great importance to us and we have dedicated significant time and resources to ensure that our governance practices are supported by effective systems and processes. We have built a strong relationship of trust with our employees, clients, volunteers, donors and the communities we serve. It is a trust that every one of us at Africare values highly and is committed to maintain. Governance, accountability and control are part of everything we do, and are the duty and responsibility of management and every employee. Very simply, we hold our employees, management and directors to the highest standards, and conduct our affairs in a manner that is beyond reproach.
