Suzanne Sande Mrlik
Suzanne Sande Mrlik resides in San Francisco, California. She began her professional career as a civil litigator for Bronson, Bronson and McKinnon, a major law firm in San Francisco. While devoting her time to raising her three boys, she transitioned to volunteer work in faith, education and health care.
Zanne has been active at Calvary Presbyterian Church for 25 years and is currently a member of Session, its governing board. As a member of the board of the Stanford Women’s Club of San Francisco, Zanne works actively with the Stanford Alumni Association to provide continuing educational and cultural development opportunities to members of the San Francisco Stanford community. Zanne is also a member of the Vassar Parent Leadership Council, providing support to the college administration.
In 2009, she joined the board of Accordia Global Health Foundation, after the premature death of her father and Accordia co-founder Dr. Merle A. Sande, to promote greater awareness and understanding of the need to build healthcare capacity in Africa. In 2016, Accordia merged with Africare where Zanne continues her advocacy. She is married to Richard Mrlik, and they have three grown boys Alexander, John, and Matthew. Zanne has a BA from Stanford University and a JD from Santa Clara University School of Law.
